Anyone need an album cover? Is your music moody, broody, full of soul? Are you a clever lyricist capturing the human expierence with a turn of phrase? ‘

If so, this may be for you. Send me an email.

Tinure, Co. Louth, Ireland

Somewhere between Dublin and Belfast, just off the M1

Traveling between Dublin and Belfast - beautiful and terrifying. They don’t have roads, they have nice paved footpaths that people drive on, Fast. Unnecessairly fast, specifically around blind turns on hills with no shoulder. Nothing like defying death to stop to take a moment for those that have come befiore us.

More Art Garfunkel than Art Gallery

Polaroid OneStep+

Said it was an art gallery… but maybe it was just a gallery in which to make art.

The Sidewalk that Never Ends

Polaroid OneStep+

Beautiful spring day - if you squint hard enough you can see a whisper of a blue sky.

My Kind of Town

What’s that saying? The whole is greater than the sum of the parts?

I find the post-trip sorting and orgainzing the photos to be somewhat meditative. It’s kind of like a puzzle with infinite possibilities, many of them very satisfying visually.

Brooklyn, New York

Pier With a View

Polaroid OneStep+

Slight panoramic view of Manhattan from a pier in Brooklyn on an overcast day. It was a lovely walk and a fantastic way to get a view of the city.

Balleymoney, Northern Ireland

The Dark Hedges

Polaroid Sun660

Polaroid Sun660

You may recognize this place from a wildly successful show. You know, the one with the slightly disappointing ending? Yea, that one.

Anyway, lovely place and lovely people out there. 10/10, will do again.

Pretty in Pink

We are able to enjoy a lovely variety of flora on walks around our neighborhood - the world is our garden!

I’m really diving into this getting older thing. On walks we will often spot something that requires a longer look. At which point we both stand there with hands-at-hips saying things like “look at the size of that thing” or “these are really coming in great this year.”

When Nature Calls…

Polaroid OneStep+

You answer.

Just outside Sisters, Oregon, there are some nice walking/hiking trails. It was easy to imagine roughing it when there was a glass of beer waiting for me at the conclusion of this walk.

Blame it on the Rain

Polaroid Sun 660

Caught in a torrential downpour and found some cover at a nearby pizza place; a welcome respite from slogging around in soggy shoes.

Luxurious Boat on an Alpine Lake

Obvs not my boat. However, I was fortunate enough to look at it. So, Ive got that going for me.

Inadvertently moved the camera in precisely the right way. Thermonuclear Bob Ross energy here.

I Don’t Speak German, But I Can’t if You Like

Polaroid Sun 660

Polaroid Sun 660

One of the few I snapped while walking around Frankfurt. In hindsight I should have brought more film and taken more pictures. Oh well, it gives me an excuse to head back to that lovely city.

No Sleep Till Brooklyn, Bridge

Polaroid Sun 660

Polaroid Sun 660

Walked across the Brooklyn Bridge as so, so, so many tourists do. And you know what? Imma do it again.

It’s just fucking cool. Put on your walking shoes though.

Bern, Switzerland

I Bet They Don’t Have Tension Headaches in Switzerland

Polaroid Sun 660

Half of us were double parked. The other half pretending we were Ansel Adams (less black and white and less American West). You’d never know there is a bear pit down there, somewhere. Unless of course you googled Bern, Switzerland. Then you’d know.

The Taking of Pelham One Two Three

Thankfully, my trip was less eventful than the title suggests.

And I prefer the original version from 1974 - no relation to the director (that I know of).
